“ Aussie NFL star Cameron Johnston seems to have adopted a policy of 'anything
you can do, I can do better' when it comes to fellow
punter and compatriot Michael Dickson.
Both players are currently vying for a place
in the league's end-of-year Pro Bowl showcase, but Geelong-born Johnston's huge leg has wowed once again after hitting an 80-metre high scoreboard in his latest game.
The booming punt glanced off one of the girders on the underside
of the gigantic AT&T Stadium Jumbotron during a crucial divisional game between the Australian's
Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys.
Usually hard-to-impress commentator Joe Buck remarked 'that
ball hit the scoreboard!', before another look at the screen showed the ball glance against it near its apex.
Twitter users were clearly amazed at the freakish effort by Johnston - who at last count barely trailed the Seattle
Seahawks' Sydney-born Dickson in Pro Bowl voting.
One Australian user said: 'Cam Johnston's punt just hit the big screen above the field.
No stadium can contain the Aussie Superboot.'

Philadelphia Eagles fans state-side appeared to be jumping on the Johnston bandwagon as well, with one saying
he was their 'best player all year'.
Philadelphia won the Superbowl last season behind unlikely
quarterback hero Nick Foles but have stumbled to a less-than-stellar 8-5 record in the 2018 campaign.

The 'Aussie Superboot' has slipped under the radar as
one of the NFL's best punters in comparison to Australian Seattle Seahawks punter Michael Dickson
Dubbed the 'Down Under Destroyer', Dickson has grabbed headlines this season while the 'Aussie Superboot' has slipped under the radar as
a dark horse.
Dickson, 22, plaudits grew after he landed a 'perfect punt' inside the three
yard line for the Seahawks last month.
Earlier in the season, the rookie punter audaciously ran for a first down against the Detroit Lions when it would have been safer to punt.
His drop-kick onside kick against the Chicago Bears before that has also drawn him admirers.
Ben Graham, the only Aussie punter to play in the Superbowl, said: 'He has brought the position of punter to life based on what he's
been able to do on the field.'
